Opportunities Offered by the Aid and Attendance Program

We understand that managing the cost of personal care can be challenging. We help you explore the A&A Program, a VA benefit designed for eligible veterans and their spouses. This program provides financial support to assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), giving you the freedom to choose the caregiver who best suits your needs.

If you qualify, the A&A Program can cover 14-21 hours per week of personal care and homemaking services, allowing you to maintain independence and live comfortably in your own home.

Who is Eligible for Aid and Attendance Services?

  • Have served a minimum of 90 days on active duty, or at least 1 day during a period of war.
  • Are 65 years of age or older, or under 65 and currently receiving SSDI.
  • Require assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs).
  • Have caregiving expenses that surpass their monthly income.

Spouses of eligible veterans may also be qualified for this benefit.
